About Ecopax

About Ecopax

What is Ecopax?

Ecopax is a UK B2B supplier of pharmacy packaging, dispensing and repeat consumable products.

We supply everyday pharmacy essentials such as prescription bags, amber bottles, tablet cartons, thermal labels, MDS compliance products and related dispensing items.

Who is Ecopax for?

Ecopax is built for UK independent pharmacies, small pharmacy groups, multi-branch pharmacy businesses and dispensing healthcare organisations that want better value on repeat consumables.

What makes Ecopax different?

Ecopax operates a lean, online-first model focused on planned ordering, transparent pricing and lower repeat costs.

Instead of trying to be an emergency next-day supplier, we help pharmacies plan ahead and save money on the consumables they use every month.

Are you a pharmacy?

No. Ecopax is not a pharmacy.

We do not sell medicines, controlled drugs or prescription-only medicines. We supply packaging, dispensing and pharmacy consumable products used by pharmacies and healthcare businesses.

Why is your pricing lower?

Our business is built differently. We keep the range focused, operate online, reduce unnecessary overheads and work with carefully selected supply routes.

This allows us to offer strong value on repeat pharmacy consumables without compromising on practical quality.

Products

Products & Compatibility

What products do you supply?

Our core range includes prescription bags, amber medicine bottles, tablet cartons, child-resistant caps, thermal dispensing labels, MDS compliance products, trays, sealing film, dispensing spoons, oral syringes, measures and other repeat pharmacy consumables.

The range is intentionally focused at launch. This helps keep the website simple, supports quality control and allows us to stay competitive on the products pharmacies buy most often.

As Ecopax grows, we plan to expand into further pharmacy consumables, selected pharmacy retail products and other pharmacy supply categories where we can offer genuine value.

Do you supply prescription bags?

Yes. We supply common pharmacy prescription bag sizes, including P2, P3, P4, P5 and P9 formats where available.

Each product page shows the size, pack quantity and relevant details before you order.

Do you supply amber medicine bottles?

Yes. We supply amber medicine bottles in common pharmacy sizes.

Product pages show bottle size, pack quantity and compatible cap information where applicable.

Do you supply tablet cartons?

Yes. Ecopax supplies common tablet carton sizes used by pharmacies for dispensing and packaging.

Each listing includes the carton size and pack quantity so you can order the correct product for your dispensary.

Do you supply thermal dispensing labels?

Yes. We supply pharmacy thermal labels for commonly used dispensing label printer formats.

Product pages clearly state the printer format, label size and adhesive type so you can match your current setup before placing an order.

How do I know which labels to order?

Check your current label roll size, printer type and adhesive preference.

If you are unsure, contact us with a photo of your current label box and printer model before ordering.

What is the difference between peelable and permanent labels?

Peelable labels are designed to be removed more easily from certain surfaces.

Permanent labels are designed for stronger adhesion and are harder to remove once applied. The right choice depends on your PMR process, container type and pharmacy preference.

Do your labels work with all PMR systems?

Compatibility usually depends on the printer and label size used by your pharmacy rather than the PMR system alone.

Before ordering, check your current label roll specification. If you are unsure, contact us before placing an order.

Do you supply MDS compliance products?

Yes. Ecopax supplies MDS-related products, including 2x daily and 4x daily compliance packs, trifold monthly trays and sealing film where available.

Each MDS product page shows the format, quantity and key specifications.

Are your MDS products suitable for every pharmacy?

Different pharmacies use different MDS systems, sealing processes and workflow preferences.

If you are moving from another supplier, compare the format, compartment layout, sealing method and tray dimensions against your current product before placing a full order.

Can I request a product you do not currently list?

Yes. If there is a repeat pharmacy consumable you regularly use but cannot find on our website, contact us.

Customer requests help us decide which products to add next.

Do you supply pharmacy retail products?

Ecopax is focused first on pharmacy packaging, dispensing and repeat consumable lines.

A selected pharmacy retail range is planned as Ecopax grows. The aim is not to list random products, but to add retail lines that make commercial sense for pharmacies and fit the same value-led model.

If there are retail products your pharmacy regularly buys or would like us to consider, contact us and we can record your interest.

Will the Ecopax range expand over time?

Yes. Ecopax is starting with a focused range of high-use pharmacy consumables so we can keep the website clear, control quality and stay competitive on price.

Over time, we plan to expand into additional consumable lines, selected pharmacy retail products and other pharmacy supply categories where we can offer clear value.

Customer requests will help shape the range, so pharmacies are welcome to tell us what they would like to see added next.

Pricing

Pricing & Savings

How much can my pharmacy save with Ecopax?

Savings depend on your current supplier, product mix and order volume.

Ecopax is designed to help pharmacies reduce spend on repeat consumables, especially on high-volume lines such as bags, bottles, cartons, labels and MDS products.

Do you show prices online?

Yes. Ecopax is built to be transparent and self-serve.

You can view product information, pack quantities and pricing online without waiting for a sales representative.

Are prices shown including VAT or excluding VAT?

Product pricing and VAT treatment will be shown clearly on the website and at checkout.

A VAT invoice will be provided for your records where applicable.

Why are some products significantly cheaper than traditional suppliers?

Our model is built around lower overheads and planned ordering.

We do not price products around a next-day emergency supply model. By reducing unnecessary cost layers and keeping the buying process online, we can offer better pricing on many repeat consumables.

Does cheaper mean lower quality?

No. Lower pricing does not mean we accept poor-quality products.

Every product is selected with pharmacy use in mind and checked against practical requirements before being listed.

Do you offer bulk discounts?

For larger orders or multi-branch pharmacy groups, contact us.

We can review your expected usage and provide a tailored saving estimate where appropriate.

Do you price match?

Ecopax is built to offer strong value from the start rather than relying on occasional price matching.

If you are comparing a regular high-volume product, you are welcome to send us the details and we will review whether we can offer a better planned-order price.

Can you calculate my annual saving?

Yes. Our Savings Calculator is designed to help pharmacies estimate potential savings.

You can enter your current spend or product usage, and the tool will show an estimated comparison based on Ecopax pricing.

Ordering

Ordering

How do I place an order?

Orders are placed online through the Ecopax website.

Choose your products, check the quantities and specifications, add them to your basket, then complete checkout securely.

Can I order by phone?

Ecopax is built as an online-first supplier, so orders should be placed through the website wherever possible.

If you need help choosing the correct product, contact us before ordering and we will guide you.

Do I need an account to order?

You may be able to browse products without an account, but creating an account gives you access to order history, repeat ordering and saved details.

For pharmacies that reorder the same consumables regularly, an account makes the process easier.

Is there a minimum order value?

Ecopax is built to be flexible, with no unnecessary minimum order barrier where possible.

Any checkout requirements or product-specific conditions will be shown clearly before payment.

Can I repeat a previous order?

Yes. Once you have an account, you can use your order history to reorder previous products more quickly.

We also send reorder reminders to help you stay ahead of stock running low.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

Contact us as soon as possible.

If your order has not yet been processed, we will do our best to amend or cancel it. Once an order has moved into fulfilment or dispatch, changes may not be possible.

What happens after I place an order?

You will receive an order confirmation by email.

Your order will then be processed, and tracking information will be provided once it becomes available. We will keep you updated if there are any issues or delays.

Delivery

Delivery

How long does delivery take?

Standard Ecopax delivery is usually 10–18 working days from order confirmation.

This is because Ecopax is designed around planned ordering rather than emergency next-day supply.

Do you offer next-day delivery?

No. Ecopax does not offer next-day or same-day delivery.

This is deliberate. We are built for pharmacies that can plan ahead and want lower repeat consumable costs.

Why does delivery take longer than traditional suppliers?

Traditional next-day suppliers carry the cost of warehouses, vehicles, staff and emergency delivery infrastructure. Those costs usually have to be recovered through product pricing.

Ecopax takes a different approach. By focusing on planned ordering and a leaner supply model, we can keep pricing lower on repeat lines.

What if I need something urgently?

Ecopax is not intended for emergency same-day or next-day top-ups.

If you urgently need a product tomorrow, you may need an immediate alternative for that requirement. Ecopax is best used for planned repeat purchasing, where the saving matters more than emergency speed.

How can I avoid running out while waiting for delivery?

Use your previous order history, current stock level and expected monthly usage to order before stock becomes critical.

Our Dispensing Planner is designed to help pharmacies plan consumable ordering around the delivery window.

Will I receive tracking?

Yes. Tracking information will be provided once it becomes available.

You will receive tracking by email, and we will update you if there are any known delays.

Do you deliver across the UK?

Ecopax is built for UK pharmacy customers.

Delivery availability, timescales and any location-specific restrictions will be shown at checkout or confirmed before your order is processed.

Can you deliver to Northern Ireland, Highlands or offshore locations?

Delivery to certain locations may take longer or involve different delivery conditions.

If your pharmacy is based in Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands, islands or another non-standard delivery area, please check delivery information at checkout or contact us before ordering.

Payment

Payment & Invoices

How do I pay?

Ecopax accepts upfront online payment at checkout.

Supported payment methods may include major debit cards, credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and other secure payment options shown at checkout.

Do you offer credit accounts?

No. Ecopax does not offer credit accounts at launch.

This helps us keep the business lean, reduce admin costs and maintain lower pricing for pharmacy customers.

Why do you not offer credit terms?

Credit accounts add admin, credit control, chasing, risk and cost. Those costs usually have to be built into product pricing.

Ecopax keeps payment simple: order online, pay securely at checkout, and receive clear confirmation.

Can I pay by BACS or bank transfer?

Not as standard at launch.

Ecopax is built around online checkout and upfront card payment. For larger group accounts, contact us if you need to discuss payment workflow.

Will I receive an invoice?

Yes. You will receive an order confirmation and invoice or receipt for your records.

VAT information will be shown where applicable.

Is online payment secure?

Yes. Payments are processed through secure checkout technology.

Ecopax does not store your full card details directly.

Accounts

Accounts & Pharmacy Groups

Can I create an Ecopax account?

Yes. Creating an account helps you manage order history, delivery addresses and repeat orders.

This is useful for pharmacies that regularly buy the same consumables.

Do you support multi-branch pharmacy groups?

Yes. Ecopax is built to support both single-site independents and multi-branch groups.

For groups, we can help with product matching, repeat ordering, branch-level requirements and saving estimates.

Can each branch order separately?

Yes. Branches can order separately if that is how your group operates.

Alternatively, a central buyer can manage ordering across all branches.

Can a central buyer approve branch orders?

Yes. We can support an order approval process for groups where branch staff prepare what they need and an owner or central buyer reviews and pays.

Can you help standardise products across branches?

Yes. If your group wants to standardise bags, labels, bottles, cartons or MDS products across branches, contact us.

We can help identify the correct core products and build a repeat ordering structure.

Can you provide a group-level saving estimate?

Yes. Send us your branch count, current high-volume consumables and approximate monthly or annual usage.

We can prepare a saving estimate and suggest a sensible planned-order setup.

Quality & Returns

Quality, Returns & Refunds

How do you check product quality?

Products are reviewed before being listed, with attention to specification, suitability and practical use in a pharmacy environment.

We focus on repeat consumables that pharmacies actually need and can reorder with confidence.

What if a product arrives damaged?

Contact us as soon as possible with your order number and photos of the damaged item or packaging.

We will review the issue and arrange a suitable resolution, which may include replacement or refund depending on the circumstances.

What if I receive the wrong item?

Contact us with your order number and a photo of the item received.

If the wrong product has been supplied, we will work quickly to correct it.

What is your returns policy?

For non-faulty items, returns may be accepted if the product is unused, unopened, in original packaging and suitable for resale.

You must contact us before returning anything. Please do not send products back without approval.

How long do I have to request a return?

Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order if you want to request a return.

Because we supply B2B pharmacy consumables, returned goods must be unopened, unused and in a resaleable condition.

Can I return opened products?

Usually, no. Opened pharmacy consumables cannot normally be returned unless there is a verified fault or product issue.

Who pays return postage?

For non-faulty returns, return postage is usually the customer’s responsibility.

If the return is due to our error or a verified product fault, we will advise on the correct resolution.

When will I receive my refund?

Refunds are processed after the returned goods have been received and checked.

The time for funds to appear depends on your payment provider.

Planning

Planning & Reordering

How often should I reorder pharmacy consumables?

This depends on your dispensing volume and the products you use.

Bags and cartons may be ordered less frequently, while labels and MDS products may need more regular reordering. Ecopax works best when pharmacies plan ahead and reorder before stock becomes low.

Do you send reorder reminders?

Yes. Ecopax can send reorder reminders based on previous purchases.

These reminders help you avoid last-minute buying and support planned ordering.

What is the Savings Calculator?

The Savings Calculator helps you estimate how much your pharmacy could save by switching selected consumable lines to Ecopax.

It is designed to make the saving clear before you place an order.

What is the Dispensing Planner?

The Dispensing Planner helps pharmacies work out when to order key consumables based on expected usage and delivery times.

It is designed to remove the main concern with planned ordering: running out before the next delivery arrives.

Does the Dispensing Planner use patient data?

No. The Dispensing Planner does not use individual patient data.

Where dispensing data is used, it is based on pharmacy-level information and estimated usage, not identifiable patient records.

Do I have to use the tools to order?

No. You can simply shop online and place an order.

The tools are there to help pharmacies that want to plan better, calculate savings and manage repeat purchasing more confidently.

Support

Data & Support

What information do you collect when I order?

Payment details are handled securely through the checkout provider.

No. We do not sell customer data.

Why might you ask for my ODS code?

Your ODS code can help identify your pharmacy accurately and support planning or saving estimates.

It also helps avoid confusion where pharmacies have similar names or multiple branches.

Do you use NHS patient data?

No. Ecopax does not use individual NHS patient data.

Any planning or saving tools are based on pharmacy-level information, customer-provided details and estimated consumable usage.
